WARNING...THIS IS A LONG POST!!!

 Recently, we took a trip to Boise to look at homes...we really liked this house plan...

 We are thinking more and more about building...this would be my dream kitchen for sure!

 A little closer look...love the crown moldings and antiquing on the cabinets...check out that granite slab!

 Mom was here for a visit and we had a great time going down to Toppenish to look at the murals.  They are so awesome!  I can't believe we have lived here for 17 years and have never taken the time to go check it out.  There are 72 murals and the following are just a few of the awesome murals.  Check out the detail in this one with the shadows of the people and the black silhouettes.  They are incredible and painted on cinderblock.

 Depicting a cattle stampede through the middle of town...each one gives a little history of the Yakima Valley...

 One of my favorites!  The artist painted this and then came back a few days later and painted himself in the picture.

 My mom's favorite...looks so three dimensional...everything is painted here, including the "carved" look...everything is painted on a flat surface.

 This was my personal favorite!  I love the detail and the sephia colors.  If you are ever in this area it is well worth taking the tour!  They also have a tradition every year of gathering ten or so artists together to paint a mural.  It is called "Mural in a Day".  Renowned artists come and paint a mural in one day.  I just loved seeing these!  They are just so beautiful!
